Top 5 High Yielding Indica Strains

When cultivating cannabis, growers aim to produce a potent, fragrant bud–and ideally, lots of it. Genetics, nutrients, grow mediums, climate, and many other factors are responsible for determining the yield of your garden. The first of those factors, the plant’s genetics, dictate which attributes the plant is capable of expressing, while environmental factors are what help coax them out in the growing process.

1.Strawberry Banana
Strawberry Banana is a winner due to its potency, smell, and yield. Its effects are strong, with test results ranging from 22-26 percent THC content. Strawberry Banana is a hybrid that is 30% sativa and 70% indica.

Strawberry Banana grows vigorously and is somewhat on the larger side for an indica. It will need training and pruning to make sure all of the plant gets enough light. It’s best to grow this strain indoors because it doesn’t like humidity, but you can also grow it outdoors if you live somewhere dry.

2.Northern Lights (90% Indica, 10% Sativa)
Northern Lights has become a favorite strain among growers and users alike. It has a uniquely sweet aroma rounded off with a hint of spiciness which translates perfectly when smoked. With gorgeous multi-colored buds dusted with an irresistible snow of trichomes, there is a lot to like from Northern Lights at first glance.

Coming in at up to 18% THC, the high from these flowers can be quite the ride. With its strong Indica characteristics, Northern Lights produces a powerful body high. It is extremely relaxing — a lazy strain which could put you to sleep or make you delightfully couch locked if you smoke enough.

3.BLUE MYSTIC
Blue Mystic was borne of a collaboration between California and Oregon strains. The bushy plant can grow up to 1 metre tall, but we recommend topping or pinching the plant, and trimming like a bonsai for a maximised yield. Harvest around eight weeks for a sweet, fruity flavour, or wait until ten weeks for a stonier high.

4.Royal Cookies Cannabis Indica Strain Seeds
As a signature variation from Girl Scout cookies and royal queen auto flower marijuana seeds, the Royal Cookies has the smell and taste of cookies as you know it. It has a high amount of indica on it as supported by its ruderalis genetic composition. It is also good for those who are new into the marijuana business since it requires just minimum maintaining requirements within a span of eight to ten weeks.

The buds shall appear in just six weeks which is ready to be a harvest for the next two weeks. This has an 18% amount of THC content that delivers high euphoric content just like cookies that also leaves a minty and feel good aftertaste. It comes good for both outdoor and indoor growing and breeding. In normal conditions, the plant can reach as high 140 cm and can yield 100-150 grams on an average basis.

5.Afghani
Afghani indica strains are broad leaf hash production plants from the mountains of Afghanistan. Brought over to the West during the hippie trail era, Afghani was cultivated, inbred and crossbred with other marijuana varieties, including sativas. The first well-known indica/sativa being Skunk, an (Afghani x Colombian Gold)/Acapulco Gold hybrid from the Bay Area, named for it’s strong stinky fragrance. Afghani genetics have since been used in countless breeding programs. Many hybrids today can trace their lineage back to Afghani #1 (a Skunkman Afghani IBL) or the Maple Leaf Wilson collection (unselected Afghani landraces).

The Methods: Indoor, Greenhouse, and Outdoor
There are three main methods of growing cannabis: indoor, sun-grown with light deprivation (greenhouse), and full-term sun-grown (outdoor).

Obviously, the biggest difference between growing outdoors and indoors by marijuana grow tent is control. With an indoor control, you can maintain the temperature, cannabis grow light, water levels and every other aspect related to growing cannabis. But outdoors you’ll have to deal with the changing weather. For some people that’s part of the fun. For others, it’s just a pain.

Going along with control of indoor growers, using inline duct fan and carbon filter for grow tent, the quality of indoor grows are generally better than outdoor ones. The actual plant receives less damage, so the end product is a mostly pristine bud. However, experienced outdoor growers will be able to produce just as a high quality a strain whether indoors or outdoors, although they might be a little less beautiful if grown outside.
